At Trumbull Tables, every gathering is a chance to slow down, connect, and make memories around something beautiful.
Trumbull Tables began during one of the hardest chapters of my life, after losing both of my parents to cancer. In the midst of deep grief, I found comfort in setting the table, creating a space for friends and family to linger, chat, and reminisce just a little longer.
Along the way, I uncovered my parents’ wedding china, my grandmother’s silverware, and my great-grandmother’s champagne coupes. Bringing these family heirlooms back to life on the table became a way of keeping my family close, and sharing them with others brought a quiet kind of happiness. What began as a small ritual grew into a creative outlet, a source of healing, and a tribute to the kind of connection my loved ones always made space for.
Growing up, our family gatherings centered around the table, especially the old picnic table on Trumbull Road my dad affectionately called the “best restaurant in Leelanau County.” That spirit, and the feeling we shared around that Trumbull Table, is what I hope to share with you all.
I believe all the best stories start around the table. Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to see what we gather around.
